I can't describe how much fun I have meeting new Moms, parents and families who want to document moments in their lives. When Allison first reached out to me she had a vision. This vision included a flowy gown and a floppy hat and man oh man she rocked it during her session! Also can we talk about her smile!!!! The setting could not have been more perfect at Crump Park in Glen Allen, VA. Allison and I talked about several of my client gowns prior to the session that she would like to wear. After a Consultation/Dress Fitting we were prepared going into the session which dresses she wanted to wear and the flow of when to put each one on. THEN THE MOST FABULOUS THING HAPPENED! One of my newest gowns had arrived and I told her I would bring it if she wanted. HOLY MOLY she blew me away how gorgeous she looked. And I could tell she felt the same! These gowns have a way with people and I can't express enough how wonderful it is to provide them for any of clients (pregnant or not!) To check out my current client closet click HERE I am obsessed with all things fluffy and soft for babies! So before baby Fitz arrived I ordered a bunch of matching wraps & bonnets from one of my favorite vendors THINGY THINGZ . These wraps are so soft and long that he fell right asleep and I worked my magic moving him from set up to set up with ease! Mom & Dad love wanted a Nightmare Before Christmas theme, so I set up a great composite that provided just that!! Here is a perfect example of how I integrate composites into a session. The first photo below is baby posed in studio, the second is the first composite into a more neutral setting, and the third is where I used the baby in the bowl to give the parents a "Year of the Pig" themed image. Y'all these are the nicest and sweetest people ever and I can't wait to see them again this fall for Fitz's sitter session at the Apple Orchard!
